Volunteers needed to attend an 'Insect Habitats' workshop for the Sustainable Living Festival 2017


Volunteers are needed at a workshop to help create new habitat 

for our diminishing insect population

Keep the date and come along on Monday 6th February 7-9pm
St Kilda eco-centre (St Kilda Botanical Gardens) 
Please bring some organic material and manmade containers to assemble these habitats
 Start gathering material for the event such as:
dry organic matter              leaves       twigs       pine cones       grass       nuts        flowers
newspaper      corrugated cardboard      plastic/metal containers      plastic straws    sticks

The Great Local lunch this year will be another amazing lunch served along the Yarra river.
For this Debbie Punton from Greensong and I will be working together again to create some table decoration for this event which will take place

Come and meet like-minded people from across Melbourne and beyond

During my residency this year, I gave a talk with the other artists in residence Britt Salt & Anne Graham at the Australian Tapestry Workshop during my residency Here are some excerpt of the talk delivered 6 March 2018 at ATW: '... At 7 people started to notice my drawings, which led me to think I could become an artist. In primary and secondary school I took art lessons at and out of school, during my youth I was always making things while watching TV religiously on Saturday afternoon with my dad. Oceans

Oceans is a 2009 film by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud, narrated by the handsome Pierce Brosnan. Although you can only hear him. It took 4 years to film all the material needed to make 'Oceans'. Watching this documentary is music to our ears and a total and absolute pleasure to watch. I highly recommend it for all young and older public. Below are some exerts of the commentary read by Pierce Brosnan.
