Rethink is the brain child of Junkies Magazine  A festival of reuse rethink recycle ideas which will take place at the  Ballarat Trades hall over the 17-19 November weekend Junkies is a magazine that surveys all aspect of creative people in the field of sustainability  using junk as their material Four of my large works adorned the Trades Hall for that weekend amidst plenty of smaller works

An unusual idea came to me while away but always wanted to make. Also the material found were perfect for this project. Collecting, gathering and recording trash while walking the street of Sydney suburbs allowed me to create this work and of course as you will see this happen to look like fashion... squeezing the waistline looking at the tail of the dress  Now do you see what I see when I mention fashion albeit now fashionable trash in Pyrmont and that is where fashion came into my mind

Westgarth Theatre Always nice to hear that passerby thought the works on display was  or reminded them of my artwork This installation was put together for the special event for the occasion of the projection of the French Film Festival documentary Tomorrow (Demain) a must see and a positive outlook on what people already have put to action around the globe... There is an inkling of hope on the horizon but we all need to do our bit. However small or large your contribution is, your gesture is going towards a positive impact on our future for this planet.   Choosing your best shots is always a difficult decision in the making or not! This was another great opportunity to put my work up in one of the still standing old  Melbourne icon venues

Organic Plastic My sculptural work is created from everyday man-made objects and materials from nature I glean and collect from my surroundings. My interest lays in reconnecting societies to the way we handle waste in our precious environment. Même Famille Black Spill exhibition was inspired and created around the black plastic debris found on our beaches. The exhibition is an exhibition of assemblages, paintings and prints of tribal necklaces made from the collected plastic waste, the remains of our current society. This installation project was made possible through the Korowa environmental team, staff and students whom collected society’s plastic waste from city streets, beaches and homes. Visitors to the gallery opening are invited to bring your black plastic pieces to add to the Black Spill installation.
