Sculpture at Scenic World

What an experience to see your own work in a magical landscape under the tree canopy of the N.S.W. Blue Mountains. This exhibit of what sculpture is now is an extroardinary survey of public spatial practice with in the lush enclosure of an untouched forest on the side of a mountain.

New show at PS50 - White Nights

Starting the new year with a show at PS50 one of the newest alternative galleries in town. The show is about how interesting opposite can be. As Christmas is in summer in Australia, I will be recreating the feeling of the wintery Christmas of my youth with a little difference as it is presented in Melbourne on our long hot summer nights for the month of February 2015. Nine Large snowflakes  created from single use plastic packaging found in our back lanes will be backlit in window boxes along Orr st (opposite cafe). Artist Residency - Day 23 - Scavenger

Scavenger Days are nearly OVER One of my last day picking up rubbish today I have concentrated in the last minute design of the Totem and went to pick up flatten plastic bottles Photo by Debbie Punton Today the lovely warm weather brought many visitors, some recurring friendly people, to the studio. Many budding artists live in the area and use the #FootscrayLibrary extensively I must say that the library has an amazing program catering for all the communities from the Maribyrnong area. Here are some photos of the flatten bottles gathered from one area along French Street( how appropriate). This was before a lovely vietnamese lunch at #PhoHungVuongSaigon next to Nab at 128 Hopkins st, right opposite #Trocadero and #FiveWalls galleries. I always love coming to this restaurant where the locals go and have never been disappointed. Today I met some lovely locals whom wandered into Artsboxmcc. Sold a necklace to Matthew and spoke to Katie a freelance writer. I continue developing the totems and have secured their lining.
