Show is up and running until Thursday 16th February 2017 - Glass Cube Gallery

Glad to see this very large installation coming together in the Glass Cube Gallery at Cube 37.

The Glass Cube is a street frontage exhibition space in the Frankston Art Centre which can be viewed day & night for this Angela Barnett & I have teamed up.
This collaborative work has been staged to have a maximum viewing capacity. Angela's work can be seen projected on three giant screens at night and my all white installation can be viewed during daytime from the street.





To experience the full extent of this immersive installation come and see it close up 
during the gallery open hours.

Artist Talk @ The Australian Tapestry Workshop

During my residency this year, I gave a talk with the other artists in residence Britt Salt & Anne Graham at the Australian Tapestry Workshop during my residency Here are some excerpt of the talk delivered 6 March 2018 at ATW: '... At 7 people started to notice my drawings, which led me to think I could become an artist. In primary and secondary school I took art lessons at and out of school, during my youth I was always making things while watching TV religiously on Saturday afternoon with my dad. So at 16 exited I expressed to my father that I wanted to become an artist after all I had been working at it for nearly 10 years, this grand phrase didn’t have the grand positive response I expected. Oceans

Oceans is a 2009 film by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud, narrated by the handsome Pierce Brosnan. Although you can only hear him. It took 4 years to film all the material needed to make 'Oceans'. Watching this documentary is music to our ears and a total and absolute pleasure to watch. I highly recommend it for all young and older public. Below are some exerts of the commentary read by Pierce Brosnan. A little bit at a time new forms of life ripple the waters of the world, spreading and multiplying adapting and evolving Pollution runs out of rivers spilling (as can be seen by satellite) We have littered the oceans with hundreds of thousands of trash spilling poison around.
