Artist Residency @ YYS

What an opportunity to have this 3 months residency at the Yarra Youth Services in Fitzroy. There is a large art room where I can work on my own personal projects which are a solo exhibition at the St Kilda Town hall and a large immersive installation at the Bayside Corporate centre in Sandringham both in July this year.
I also have the occasion to work with local teenagers as the YYS open their doors 4-6 pm week nights to fashion, video, sound, dance, theatre and open studio workshops. I have the occasion to facilitate art classes & sculpture projects.
As an artist in residence you will have the occasion to involve yourself in the larger community programs. Spreading your art possibilities and capabilities.
Programs such as Sustainability, Spectacle a day on the green, Gertrude St Projection Featival and more...

And you can also help out with a little bit of cleaning, rearranging and planting.


What an opportunity to be here in this community. I just love being here. Working with a great team with great teenagers in a lovely buzzing area.

Oceans

Oceans is a 2009 film by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud, narrated by the handsome Pierce Brosnan. Although you can only hear him. It took 4 years to film all the material needed to make 'Oceans'. Watching this documentary is music to our ears and a total and absolute pleasure to watch. I highly recommend it for all young and older public. Dismantling

There it is the dismantling of a 3 weeks show and we are please and feel that the exhibition Regurgitate. It certainly allowed people to enter our realm of interest, in pausing, for a moment, their thoughts to things they may not have seen, thought of ... or were indifferent to All plastic items in the show were found on the beach Human indifference is the worse thing that can happen and in a way that is  where we have come to in this super fast world The oceans are polluted by our plastic and consumer waste that will never disappear .... until.....  we take responsibility in  create recycling plants through out the world but first thing first,  How about in Australia!!!
