Excitement is in the air….

New Show-Memoire de Vie
Gently but surely the artworks is coming together 
for my long awaited solo exhibition 
at The Alliance Française 
51 Grey St 
St Kilda

The 'Eildon Gallery' 
is situated in the ballroom in the grand mansion 
and offers an opportunity to set up works in 2 different areas

This show is exiting for me
as I am bringing together the full spectrum of my multi-disciplinary practice 
in one single venue.

the extent of my passion for 
painting abstract
painting realism 
assemblage
sculpture 
& 
installation 

As an artist participating in a show means that you may be able to enter only one or two works. While this is a great all worth while and the artist may target only one stream of work from their own practice, it is also wonderful to be invited to have the opportunity to bring it all under one roof.
Some challenges of courses came across this pursuit (and am sure more will come as I install the work early October) but excitement is in the air….

Oceans

Oceans is a 2009 film by Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud, narrated by the handsome Pierce Brosnan. Although you can only hear him. It took 4 years to film all the material needed to make 'Oceans'. Watching this documentary is music to our ears and a total and absolute pleasure to watch. I highly recommend it for all young and older public. Below are some exerts of the commentary read by Pierce Brosnan. Dismantling

There it is the dismantling of a 3 weeks show and we are please and feel that the exhibition Regurgitate. It certainly allowed people to enter our realm of interest, in pausing, for a moment, their thoughts to things they may not have seen, thought of ... or were indifferent to All plastic items in the show were found on the beach Human indifference is the worse thing that can happen and in a way that is  where we have come to in this super fast world The oceans are polluted by our plastic and consumer waste that will never disappear .... until.....  we take responsibility in  create recycling plants through out the world but first thing first,  How about in Australia!!! We need to use less plastic and replace it with items that are made of metal or glass  and that are recyclable  Painting on canvas behind mobile of purified bottles utilised by drug addicts Spoons and lids from drink pop-up bottles And the more responsible thing to do, would be
